Stir fried chicken with chili & cumin powder( Chinese: 孜然串串鸡 )



This is a typical Sichuan food and taste chili, I saw some western people order this and they like it so much. Some Chinese food is not suitable for DIY such as Gong Bao Chicken. But this one is not so difficult for a family to cook themselves.


Ingredients:
1. Chicken breast;
2. soy sauce;
3. salt;
4. cumin powder; ( Chinese Zi Ran 孜然,you have to get this from a Chinese shop )
5. red pepper;
6. starch;
7. bamboo skewers.
Method:
1. Cut chicken breast into thin slices, add soy sauce, salt, cumin, red pepper, a little oil, starch;
2. Stir them evenly;
3. Wait for 2 hours so that the ingredients can immmersed into the chicken;
4. string the chicken slices with bamboo skewers;
5. Preheat the oven to 400F, sprinkle some cumin powder, bake for about 5 minutes, turning it over;
6. bake 4 to 5 minutes, then sprinkle some cumin powde;
now it is ready for serve.

The step 5 and 6 can also be replaced by BBQ!
